The episode title, "Eat, Pray, Queef," as well as the book written by Katherine and Katie Queef, is a reference to the 2006 memoir written by Elizabeth Gilbert. Episode References
During the episode, the Canada Channel replaces a much anticipated episode of Terrance and Phillip as an April Fools prank. This is a reference to the season two premiere, "
Terrance and Phillip in Not Without My Anus," in which the episode expected to air was to reveal who Cartman's father is. Instead, a Terrance and Phillip centered episode aired, infuriating South Park fans.
Cartman: Don't call me buddy! I'm not your buddy!
This phrase, often used by arguing Canadians, first appeared in "
Canada on Strike."
