Recap

With all the news of school shootings, child abductions, and terrorist attacks, the parents of South Park become quite concerned about the safety of their children. Tweek, who is already jumpy by nature, is extremely scared by all the news reports. His parents don't help his fears, running cruel intruder drills with him that only scare him more. Tweek becomes so suspicious that he refuses to help a catatonic man who's wheelchair is stuck on train tracks, claiming that he cannot talk to a stranger. That night, a child abductor, claiming to be the ghost of human kindness, attempts to and nearly succeeds to abduct Tweek. Now the parents in town are on full alert...

Episode Quotes
Sharon: Congratulations on your victory, boys.
Kyle: Dude, we weren't playing anybody.
Randy: Yeah, and you kicked ass!

Randy: (gives Stan some money) Here you go, Stanley. This should hold you over for three years.
Stan: But why do I have to leave?
Randy: The news says that at your age you aren't safe with us, son. You have to get out of here before we abduct you.

Cultural References
Frederick Johnson (Ghost): And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling policemen.

This statement is an allusion to the cartoon show, Scooby-Doo. Usually at the end of a show, the villain says to the Scooby Doo gang, "And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for these meddling kids."

Visual: The movie theater marquee.

The Bijou theater is showing the film, Men In Black II, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. The film came out in 2002, which is consistent with the year this episode first aired, also in 2002.

Visual: Crust E. Krotch

The name of the pizza parlor where the Cows team goes after its non-victory is called "Crust E. Krotch". This is a spoof of the national pizza chain that appeals to children, called Chuck E. Cheese.

Mayor McDaniels: Mr. Lu Kim, tear down this wall!

These are the same words that former U.S. President Ronald Reagan said to Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev about the Berlin Wall, on June 12, 1987.
