Red Sleigh Down - Recap

It's almost Christmas and Cartman's got his naughty/nice accountant (Kyle's cousin Kyle) hard at work. When the numbers are run, it seems that Cartman actually OWES Santa presents since he has been far too naughty. Cartman realizes that he will have to perform the nicest Christmas act ever, and sets out to spread the holiday joy to Iraq. Meanwhile in town, the lighting of the Christmas tree is about to take place, but first, Jimmy sings the "Twelve Days of Christmas." His speech impediment causes his song to last the entire night.

The boys find Mr. Hankey, and together, they all go to the North Pole to see Santa and convince him to make a trip to Iraq. Santa readies his sleigh and heads to Iraq, but he is shot down before he can deliver his presents. The reindeer are killed and Santa is badly injured and is soon caught by Iraqi insurgents. they begin questioning him and torturing him, but santa refuses to cooperate. The boys realize what they have to do, they must save Santa.

They take the backup sleigh and the new reindeer and set out to find the man who they know can help: Jesus. Jesus provides the boys with automatic assault rifles and they head to Iraq to rescue Santa. They arrive in Iraq brutally killing every insurgent they meet, eventually making it into Santa's room. They begin to head back to the sleigh, but Jesus get shot in the back by a soldier and is mortally wounded. Santa is outraged and brutally kills the solider, then kills every insurgent on his way to the roof with the boys. They then drop Christmas bombs on Iraq, thus spreading the joy and accomplishing their mission.

Back in South Park, Jimmy finally finishes his song and the tree's lights are turned on, but much to the town's disappointment, they don't even work. At that moment however, Santa comes riding in on his sleigh and magically lights the tree. He then flies the boys home giving them all a gift; the Haibo dog that Cartman really wanted. Cartman is angry though, because now all of the boys have one so he no longer wants one. At the very last moments of the episode, Kenny walks into the room! It seems that Kenny has returned from the dead and will be back for the 7th season. the boys ask him where he's been and he replies, "hanging out," while pointing to the off-screen.
