Episode Quotes
Art Teacher: You think art is not important?
Stan: Well, art is just kinda... for gay wads.

Josh: What's the matter, Principal Victoria? Was your mother abusive? Did she spank your thighs with cold cuts and stick umbrellas up your ass?

Officer Barbrady: (grabs Mr. Dreible's collar) Now you listen to me! Whoever TP-ed your house is still out there roaming the streets. It's only a matter of time before another house and another family is victimized! I have to stop that from happening.
Mr. Dreible: You really have nothing better to do, do you?
Officer Barbrady: No I do not.

Cultural References
Josh: Tell me something first. When you went to the academy you had something to prove. You wanted to protect and serve, but mostly you wanted to protect yourself. Who were you protecting yourself from, Officer Barbrady?
Officer Barbrady: Oh all right, all right, my uncle Charles used to hit me with a belt! (sobs)

Many of the lines and scenes involving Josh are parodies of Dr. Hannibal Lecter from the movie, The Silence of the Lambs (1991).

Visual: Kyle's nightmare

The second time Kyle has his nightmare about TP-ing the teacher's house, he has a vision of ice skater Nancy Kerrigan screaming "Why?!? Why?!? Why?!?" This is how she reacted during the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships when her knee was suddenly hit by an anonymous man, who later turned out to be associated with rival skater, Tonya Harding.
