Recap
Something strange happens on Interstate 285. A glowing ball of lightning opens, and out steps a small, thin, man. He tries to cross the highway in heavy traffic. Meanwhile, the boys offer to shovel a neighbor’s driveway, but Stan, Kyle & Kenny do all the work while Cartman talks on his cell phone. A fight ensues, so the boys go inside the neighbor’s house to get a bandage when they see a special news report. They hear that a time-traveler has landed outside of South Park and has been hit by a car. The time-traveler says he came to the present looking for work because the future is too over-populated and jobs are scarce. Soon, another man arrives from the future, also looking for work. Gradually, more and more time-travelers begin arriving...

Episode Quotes
Mrs. Lantis: $8,000 seems pretty steep, what about $10.00?
Cartman: Oh, let go of that tight grip you have on my balls.
Mrs. Lantis: Well, how about $15.00?
Reporter: Yes, this time border apparently follows the rules of Terminator time traveling, which is one way, and no going back, as opposed to Back to the Future rules, which allows going back and forth freely, and of course, Timerider rules, which are just plain silly.
Darrel Weathers: They took uuuuur jaaaaaaaahbs!
Episode Goofs
When Mr. Garrison is teaching the kids about verbs, he says to them, "The sad girl put balls in her mouth," but writes on the chalkboard, "The sad girl loves to put balls in her mouth."
Cultural References
Visual: SKYNARD
At the workers' meeting, one of the angry attendees is wearing cap that says "SKYNARD." This is a reference to the band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Visual: Newspeak
The term newspeak, which is what Mr. Garrison teaches the kids, is a possible parody of futurespeak. Futurespeak is used in George Orwell's book 1984.
