Episode Quotes
Stan: Why is Wall-Mart so successful?
Randy: It's simple economics son. I don't understand it, but god I love it.

Cartman: Go ahead, I can get another one at Wall-Mart. It's only 5 bucks.

Stan: Goddamn that took a long time.
Kyle: It would've been faster if Cartman hadn't slashed the tires.

Grandpa Marsh: Welcome to Wall-Mart.
Stan: Save it, Grandpa!

Episode Goofs
This isn't the first Wal-Mart in South Park, so the fuss seems excessive. In the Season 7 episode, "Red Man's Greed," Stan says, "Just because you have a piece of paper saying you own it doesn't make it yours. We grew up here. Our parents grew up here. We shop at that Wal-Mart, and eat at that Chili's. We take fish from the streams and bread them and freeze them to make fish sticks. This is not just a town, it is our way of life."

Cultural References
Title: Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes

The episode's title is a parody of the film Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983).

Visual: iPee3

The iPee3 player is a parody of several things, including an iPod and a MP3 player.

Visual: Wall-Mart collapses

The manner in which the Wall-Mart collapsed upon itself is similar to the way the house collapsed on itself in the 1985 film, Poltergeist.
