Stan feels embarrassed when his father is arrested for drunk driving. Meanwhile, a statue of the Virgin Mary bleeds and people from all over embark on pilgrimages to see it, hoping to be healed by its power. Randy believes the bleeding statue can cure him of his alcoholism.

A repeat of "Bloody Mary," this season's South Park finale, was pulled from Comedy Central's lineup following complaints by the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights.
| Catholic groups protested this episode and wanted Viacom and Comedy Central to ban the episode from TV. They also wanted it withheld from the Season 9 DVD.
