Episode Notes |
| |
"Le Petit Tourette" was the first episode in the history of South Park to be rated TV-MA LVS by the rating system. This was given due to the extreme graphic violence and strong coarse language found in the episode. | Stan and Kenny only make non-speaking appearances in "Le Petit Tourette." | During a 2008 marathon leading up to season 12, this episode was aired as being the "Most Shocking And Outrageous." |

Episode Goofs |
| |
While Cartman is talking to Chris Hansen, he lies and says his grandmother died, but immediately shouts, "That's not true, my grandma's fine." This is a mistake, as Cartman's grandmother dies in the season 5 episode "Cartmanland" and because he has no father, he can only have one grandma. |

Title: Le Petit Tourette
The title of this episode is probably a reference to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's best-selling novel, Le Petit Prince. | Visual: HBC
While Cartman is in the Dateline studio, a poster behind him reads "HBC" with a rainbow shelled turtle on it. This is a recurring reference to NBC or the National Broadcasting Company. | Cartman: I've got a golden ticket.
After Cartman discovers Tourette's syndrome, he begins to sing a parody of a song from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971). That song being "(I've Got a) Golden Ticket" performed by Jack Albertson and Peter Ostrum in the film. | Visual: Ōkami

Cartman: They'll probably give me an Emmy.
While explaining his plan to Kyle, Cartman states that he is going to make fun of the Jews and people will call it brilliant television. This could possibly be the writers of the show making a joke at their own expense. South Park is known for blasting the Jews and both the "Best Friends Forever" and "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episodes were awarded with an Emmy. | Visual: William P. Connolly
The leader of the Super Adventure Club, first introduced in the season 10 opener "The Return of Chef," can be seen on the wall in the Toy Safari store. |
