A new President has been elected and the citizens of South Park are partying in the streets in an all-new episode of “South Park.” While the country celebrates, the President-elect catches everyone off guard when he arrives at the White House prematurely. From the Oval Office, the new Commander-In-Chief assembles his team and prepares for the job ahead.

"About Last Night..." aired 23 hours after Barack Obama was declared the winner of the 2008 presidential election. As a result, the episodes opening speech was completed the morning the episode aired. Trey Parker has stated that only one version of the episode was produced, as a McCain version proved "too daunting a task."
