• Season 13 Premiere in HD

South Park Studios has announced that South Park will go HD next season. The 13th season will begin airing Wednesday March 11th, 2009.. and it'll be in HD. On top of that, the crew behind South Park has spent the last year re-rendering previous season in native HD. They didn't just up-convert the episodes, but took the time to re-render every shot and frame at true HD. That's dedication.

Is this the first animated series to go HD? Seriously, I'd love to see more animation in HD . After watching The Simpsons Movie and see how beautiful 2D animation still is...
