Possibly one of the most entertaining shows ever created
!!!!!! This review contains spoilers !!!!!!

South Park is probably one of the best shows I've ever seen due to its extremely funny episode plots and some greatly developed characters, such as Cartman, Butters and Mr. Garrison, just to name very few.

The show's animation is very simplistic, to a point that many people can't stand the series. I remember myself having a light headache after seeing the show for the first time. From an objective point of view, the visual quality of the show, particularly from the earlier episodes, is terrible. However, after getting used to it (something that won't take more than one or two episodes), you realize that the crude animation is made to fit the comedy and language of the show.

The episode plots are very enjoyable, making this show the funniest one currently airing. At the beginning, for those who are a bit more conservative can be quite shocking to hear the coarse language of the show, and many people can get a bit disturbed with the topics the show deals with. The show often makes fun of "serious" things, such as religion and politics.

Some characters of the series aren't well developed, in my opinion. That would be the case of Stan, for example. The idea of the character is to be the "normal" one of the group, though he is so "normal" that gets boring. The same happens with Kyle, who doesn't have anything notable besides being Jewish. However, there are lots of very interesting characters. The best example would be Cartman, which is a funny (unintentionally) and evil boy that perfectly shows what happens to children when they are neglected by their parents. Another great character is Mr. Garrison, with his homosexual complex. There are too many characters to name them all, but those are the best examples I can think of.

Overall, even with its flaws, South Park is an awesome show. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to its nature which can offend certain people.
