Spider-Man finds that Felicia's dad was John Hardesky, alias The Cat, a criminal with amazing acrobatic skill. He sees that when John was young, he was hired by US gov't agents to steal a formula from some scientists (the formula to create Captain America!). When questioning the agents on why they named their hero "Captain America", he realized that they were the spies. He escapes with that piece of info in his mind, with him having a photographic memory. He attempts to send her home, with it being late at night, but she refuses. She explains that she's upset over the loss of her husband and niece. Anna tells him that she believes Peter Parker is behind the loss of Mary Jane, and the Punisher looks into it. | 52 :04x11 - Partners In Danger (11): The Prowler (Aug/02/1997) | | Hobbie Brown is a no-name guy with absolutely no power in the city. He is humiliated by a crime lord, and seeks revenge. While trying to mug Mary Jane, Peter (as Spider-Man) catches him, furious that he would try to steal from his wife. Hobbie is sent to jail, where he saves Wilson Fisk's son, unbeknownst that Wilson Fisk is The Kingpin. To repay Hobbie, Fisk gives him absolute power, exactly what he's been wanting, in the form of The Prowler suit. It gives him tremendous powers, which enable him to take down Spider-Man, almost killing him! The Kingpin, always keeping strings attached, reduces the power of the suit, which he cannot take off without self-destructing himself. What's worse, is he's just made a fool of the crime lord, who wants revenge.
