  Episode Summary
After taking Dr. Crawford’s formula that is supposed to cure him of his mutagenic transformation, which she’d yet to test for accuracy, his transformation is sped up, causing Spider-Man to grow an extra four arms.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man must try to prove his innocence of the apparent kidnapping of Michael Morbius to the public, as Michael Morbius escapes from the hospital after turning into a vampire again at nightfall. The only person the public believes has the ability to capture someone on the thirtieth floor of the hospital is Spider-Man. He must also prove his innocence to the Punisher, who is out to kill Spider-Man.

  Episode Notes
This episode marks the first appearance of The Punisher in any type of media besides comic books.

  Episode Goofs
Spider-Man frequently shoots webbing from his extra four hands, though they do not have a web cartridge on them. Of course, this could be an example that he is really turning into a spider (see Analysis).

  Analysis
Spider-Man Becoming a Spider

Throughout the episode, Spider-Man shoots webbing from his extra four arms, which are not equipped with a webbing cartridge. Although this is often presumed as a goof -- which is very well could be -- it is possible that this is to show that Spider-Man is truly turning into a spider, thus he would have organic webbing.
