Mary Jane is kidnapped by whom she believes to be her dad, when in reality, it is really Dormammu, an illusionist, who runs a cult of people who believe they are meeting their long-lost parents/ siblings, when in reality, they are being hipnotized into robbing banks, and commiting crimes.
