Show Tidbits
Spider-Man was the only series to air under Marvel Films Animation. Marvel had planned to make many more series with the new production company, but FOX wanted all of their series to be made by Saban (which X-Men was made by), so no other series were made by Marvel Films Animation. The difference in production companies between X-Men and Spider-Man may have been why the animation styles differed.

In this series, no one was allowed to throw a punch, however, Spider-Man did three times:
-Once, when fighting a thug, Spider-Man knocks them on the ground, then punches them in the back, but the screen shifts before his hit connects.
-Once again, when he punches the Green Goblin in the stomach.
-A third time, when Spider-Man is fighting the Scorpion, however, he misses due to The Vulture having stolen his youth.

No one was allowed to say the words \"kill\" or \"die,\" which caused the writers to use words such as \"eliminate\" or \"annihilate.\" In the episode \"The Sting of the Scorpion,\" Mac Gargan (who would later become The Scorpion) says \"I\'d kill for the chance\" when asked by J. Jonah Jameson if he\'d like to recieve vengeance upon Spider-Man.

This series used a lot of traditional animation merged with CGI animation.

Realistic guns were not allowed, which is why all of the guns in the series (except the revolver from \"Tombstone\") all shot lasers.

When Spider-Man landed on rooftops, he was ordered not to harm any pidgeons.

Venom and Carnage never appeared in any other Spider-Man series before.

Peter Parker\'s middle name is Benjamin.
