Crap, they broke up! Or are "taking a break" or whatever! I guess the writers are preparing for the finale next week. Anyway, despite the rather heavy-handed foreshadowing in the conversation about their evaluations, I think they constructed the break-up rather well. It was believable.
As for the hostage crisis of the week, what killed me was the moment where Nathan reacts to Matt's mentioning of Hector's name, when, unknowingly to Matt, Hector was precisely what Nathan was feeling most upset and guilty about.
I liked the whole conversation where Lia knows that Matt is using his negotiation skills on her and she's intellectually resisting but being emotionally manipulated all the same. |

If it were a season finale, I'd probably be okay with leaving them broken up, but since it's a series finale, I'd like them to get back together. And that's pretty much the only continuing storyline, so that's it. What about you? |

I'm not too fussed, really. I do wonder how they could've kept the show fresh if it had'nt have been cancelled. Seems like it was doomed from day one. |

They'd been doing a good job of keeping it fresh so far. In fact, these last few episodes have been some of the best. |

I have just seen that the series has had six more episodes added, however the report does not give any more details. Maybe we should tell them we want another whole series, at least I do!! |

Are you talking about the news item that says six more episodes have been ordered? You'll notice that the date on that news item is November 2006, so it refers to episodes that have already aired in the United States. Unfortunately, there will be no additional seasons. |
