"We all take you serious...ly." Heh. I loved how dumb the hostage-takers were.
Years of past ER-watching has made me cautious about episodic professional situations that oh-so-conveniently are pretty much the same as regular characters' personal situations, but this one wasn't so bad–it had a bunch of crazy, entertaining characters and led to some good conflict/making-up.
I liked the way that the post-break-up was handled–they were both just constantly making it worse and were too stubborn to do anything to make it better–and how things ended–it seemed to be both an organic way to progress the storyline and a good endpoint for what has turned out to be the series finale. |

I loved the hostage takers, too. I think my favourite part was when they were negotiating in the van with the guy in the middle. |
