Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: In the Hands of the Prophets

One of the Bajoran religious leaders, called Vedeks, takes a glance at Keiko O'Brien's class, and is disturbed by the soulless instruction given by Mrs. O'Brien about the wormhole. The blasphemy heard by the Orthodox Bajoran's ears begins a chain of events that may destroy all that the Federation and Bajorans have worked together to achieve.

Episode Quotes
Benjamin: You okay?
Nerys: (sighs) Okay? I've forgotten "okay." I haven't seen "okay" in what seems like years. I was just sitting here thinking last year at this time I was fighting the Cardassians in some...nameless swamp. And if you'd stopped by and told me that just one year later, they'd be gone, and I'd be wearing this uniform, up here in charge of protecting some wormhole...
Benjamin: Protecting your Celestial Temple.

Keep Your Ears Open: The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition
Quark mentions to Odo the seventh rule of the acquisition: "Keep your ears open". Other rules have been laid down in previous episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, including the first rule, "Once you have their money, never give it back", and the sixth rule, "Never allow family to stand in the way of opportunity", both of which are first mentioned in "The Nagus".
