A Klingon is put into Odo's jail for overextending his stay in one of the holosuites. He had been reenacting a famous Klingon battle fought decades before. Once Jadzia hears the Klingon's name, she lets him out of jail. The Klingon, along with his three companions, swore a blood oath with Curzon Dax eight decades ago to kill a Klingon known as The Albino, who killed all three Klingons' first-born sons. Now, The Albino has been found and the chance for vengeance is at hand.

Episode Quotes |
| |
Jadzia: You dishonor yourself already, Kang, by placing your honor above mine. No Klingon warrior would leave a comrade behind while he goes off to battle.
(Kang looks at her angrily)
Perhaps you're right. Klingon honor isn't what it used to be.
Kang: Are you trying to anger me again? You think the same trick would work twice?
Jadzia: I understand Klingons.
Kang: All right then, it worked. | Kang: I was right, Dax. It is a good day to die. (passes away)
Jadzia: It's never a good day to lose a friend. |
