Cultural References
The Mirror Universe: "Mirror, Mirror"
This is the first time since the Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror" that the Mirror Universe has been seen. The events of "Mirror, Mirror", in which Captain James T. Kirk has a great impact on the Mirror Universe Spock, shape the effects upon the Mirror Universe that are first seen here, one hundred years after the events of the aforementioned episode. Coincidentally, "Crossover" occurs in the same season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as "Mirror, Mirror" in the original Star Trek series.

Episode References
