Cultural References

This episode is a twist on the novel “The Picture of Dorian Grey,” where a character lives a vicarious and debauchery life, and all his evil is transferred to a magical portrait made of him. When the portrait is destroyed, all his evils fall back on him, and he dies a horrible quick death.
