Stardate: 46271.5 During some down time on the Enterprise, Geordi runs an experiment to see if Data has the memory capacity to act as a backup to the Enterprise’s memory banks in an emergency. However, system problems then occur. Meanwhile, as Worf, his son, and Troi enjoy time on the holodeck, things go wrong there too. Data appears as the villain in their old west setting, and Worf learns the holodeck safeties are off, and there is no way they can exit. | | There are no foreign summaries for this episode: Contribute |

(after an obvious prostitute whistles at them, in the Old West setting of the holodeck)
Worf: You wrote this holodeck program yourself?
Alexander: Well... Mr. Barclay helped a little.
Worf: (looking back at the prostitute) I must have a little talk with Mr. Barclay.... |

Title: A Fistful of Datas
A Fistful of Dollars (1964) is the first of Italian director Sergio Leone's famous spaghetti western trilogy, of which the last is the well-known (everyone knows its title and classic Ennio Morricone theme song, even if they hate westerns or old movies. Opening bit here) The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Collectively they are known as the Dollars trilogy (the second being For A Few Dollars More), and launched the long and widely varied career of then little-known Clint Eastwood as The Man with No Name. |
