Stargate Atlantis: Rising, Part 2

The Wraith have captured many of the Athosians and SGA expedition members, before leaving through the Stargate. Back at Atlantis the shields continue to lose power, due to the limited energy left in the last remaining ZPM. Major Sheppard eventually gets approval to lead a rescue mission to the Wraith’s ship’s location. The rescue team finds almost all the Wraith are in hibernation in the ship and the captured people stored in cocoons or holding cells.

Sheppard must find away to rescue the people, before more Wraith awaken, but he also is faced with making a terrible sacrifice along the way.

Episode Quotes
Lt. Ford: So, we got ourselves a life-sensor detector.
Maj. Sheppard: We can name it later.

Col. Marshall Sumner: Go to hell.
The Keeper: Earth first.

Dr. Beckett: How come I never make friends like that?
Dr. McKay: You need to get out more.
Dr. Beckett: We're in another galaxy... how much more 'out' can you get?!

Lt. Ford: It's a ship. It goes through the gate. Gateship One.
Maj. Sheppard: Oh no, no, no. That's all wrong.
Lt. Ford: Dr. McKay thought it was cool.
Maj. Sheppard: Oh, okay. Well, it's official. You don't get to name anything. Ever.

Maj. Sheppard: I was just wondering where we go from here. [a map pops up]
Lt. Ford: So, how do we find them once we land?
Maj. Sheppard: I've been thinking about that too... [a life-sense detector device pops out]
Maj. Sheppard: Now I'm thinking about a nice turkey sandwich... [looks around, nothing happends]

Maj. Sheppard: Ladies and gentleman - welcome to Atlantis. Please remain seated 'til the Puddle Jumper has come to a full and complete stop.
