This episode marks the change in the opening credits to show Rainbow Sun Francks as not being a Main Character on the series.

This is a reference to the play Cyrano de Bergerac written by the French poet Edmond Rostand. The play concentrates on Cyrano's love for the beautiful Roxane, whom he obliged to woo on behalf of a more conventionally handsome, but less articulate, friend, Christian de Neuvillette, with whom she already is in love.
