This episode was shown in Canada (The Movie Network) on 28 november 2005, a couple of weeks before the regular airdate in the US.

"The Sancuary," as it is called in this episode, was created so that people could work on ascention without worrying about the Wraith destroying them. This was made possible by a time dialation field which accelerates time inside the field.

This is the first episode of the series not to feature a Stargate.
