Recap

John is sharing a drink with Teyla as they share a quiet moment together. She thanks him, knowing that she knew he’d always come for him, and rescued her from Michael. However, he doesn’t remember rescuing her. Then Lt. Ford appears, saying that John never rescued him, either. John sees blood on his side, and… wakes up. Ronon wakes him up and explains that Michael’s compound collapsed on them. Ronon removes a piece of metal from John’s side and says they’re separated from the rest of the team. Elsewhere in the rubble, McKay and Lorne are trapped and the major is injured. Lorne figures the Daedalus should be there in three hours and McKay should calm down so he doesn’t bring the rubble down on them...

Episode Quotes
Lorne: I'm pretty sure my leg is broken.
Rodney: Yeah, I think I'm remarkably fine.
Lorne: Well isn't that wonderful. That brings me great comfort, thank you.

Lorne: What are you doing?
Rodney: I'm claustrophobic, I'm trying to keep my mind busy which is hard because...you know, it's my mind.

Sheppard: I'm so stupid! Of course the building was booby trapped, I should have seen that coming.
Ronon: Yeah well, none of us did.
Sheppard: Yeah but, I'm the guy... you know, like the guy.

Ronon: All right, how do you want to play this?
Sheppard: Shoot till we can't shoot anymore.
Ronon: All right.
Sheppard: Been a pleasure.
Ronon: Same.

Col. Steven Caldwell: As a rule, I like to keep daring rescues down to one a day.

Rodney: So how are you doing?
Teyla: The pain is very great.
Rodney: Oh yeah, yeah I had a kidneystone once, incredibly painful. Same kinda thing from what I'm told so I... I hear you. Actually my cat and I had one at the same time, we were not fun to be around, I'll tell you that much. He got his because he ate too much of the dry food, I got mine because I wasn't drinking enough liquids... you know, that's why you always see me hydrating. I have no desire to experience that kind of pain again. Oh, it's just that...
Teyla: Fascinating story, thank you!
Rodney: You're welcome.

Teyla: (going into labor) Now, you need to catch him.
Rodney: Catch him?
Teyla: Yes, you need to catch him when I push him out.
Rodney: Oh God! Okay, well just... underhand him, all right? I've never been good at baseball.

Rodney: I am great with kids! The little ones that don’t talk back.

Ronon: How are we supposed to get off the ship now?
(everyone looks at McKay)
Rodney: I just delivered a baby, that's not enough for today?

Col. Steven Caldwell: Major Marks, please make that ship go away.

Rodney: Hey, what's with the bag?
Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter: What's with the flowers.
Rodney: I'm going to see Teyla. Oh, you probably heard I delivered the baby.
Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter: I did. And they tell me she's gonna name him Rodney.
Rodney: Yes! Really?
Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter: No. Not really.
