Well yeah that's one thing, but also other things are also worth discussing
To see some old faces, some new or the general style of that episode was quite pleasing. As nearly always all these things could be stretched into two eps. I really don't get it -- some filler eps are really not worth it, but other occasions like this only get one (TV) hour o.0 |

I still didnt get why the writers wrote him off...
Its true that he didnt quite fit in the team but they could've at least made him a recurring character... |

You know, I hate when I read threads I know I shouldn’t! I’m not sure what you are saying, but it doesn’t sound good. I do hope to see the episode later today.
You guys are great. |

Let’s get down to the brass tacks - why is he gone? Is he moving on to a new series? Did he ask for a raise and got fired? Does anyone know? |

From my knowledge, and what I've heard on the Save Beckett site. He actually encouraging his fans to write letters and stuff, but he didn't actually say he was leaving or anything at the time, but he hinted it.
If it something to do with his personal life, maybe, ... might have something to do with his independent film project? But I don't believe it has to do with that, since many other Stargate (SG1 & Atlantis) actors are also in that project.
It just looks like th writers/producers.. whoever jut wanted to go another direction or make some sort of of Twisted plot twist... I dOnno
It appears the people at Stargate writing staff hate doctors, They pulled a Dr. Fraiser on us again..
Also, anyone seen Dr. Carolyn Lam thee days?... ??.... ? I thought so...
Whatever the reason it may be, its a bad one |

It seems that they like to kill off stuff.
Beckett, Weir (almost), the Wraith...
The funny thing is that the Replicators were meant to be Atlantis' main enemy, but when SG-1 got renewed over and over again they decided to include them in SG-1, so they had to think of another enemy for Atlantis. But it seems that they dont like the Wraith that much. From the whole season 3, we got what - 6 episodes with Wraith in them?
2 of which were related to the previous season, 3 were with random Wraiths and 1 was only with Michael so it doesnt really count. |
