Major General Henry "Hank" Landry [Seasons 9+], played by Beau Bridges
The new commanding officer of Stargate Command, Major General Hank Landry was chosen by General O'Neill to be his replacement. Landry is also the father of Carolyn Lam, the new chief medical officer of the SGC. He met her mother while serving as a fighter pilot during Vietnam, and the two married and had Carolyn, although they eventually divorced. When first introduced, Doctor Lam seemed to have resentment towards him, which is later explained as having been caused by Landry not being around enough when she was a child because he was in the Air Force. However, the two somewhat reconciled when he was dying of the Ori Plague. |
