SG-1 visits a planet that has two different sides; the light and the dark. In the light side they meet a very civilized civilization, and in the dark side they find what seems to be primitive and violent people.

Soon after their return from that planet, some members of SG-1 begin to change their behavior and act as if they are primitive. Soon those symptoms spread through the SGC.

Episode Quotes

Jack: (talking about Sam) Uh, tried to seduce me.
Daniel: Oh, you poor man.

Daniel: (referring to night vision goggles) These don't look like my prescription.

Makepeace: You can count on us to watch your backside.
Daniel: Actually, I was more worried about my frontside.

Jack: Lucy! I'm home!
Teal'c: I cannot be certain you are back to being your old self. You referred to me as Lucy.

Daniel: (about the people on the Dark Side) We came in contact with them. Isn't that special.
Dr. Fraiser: So, the question is, why haven't you and Mr. Teal'c come down with the symptoms?
Daniel: Ah, Mr. Teal'c...Teal'c's symbiote probably protects him.
Teal'c: That would be likely.
Dr. Fraiser: What about you, Dr. Jackson?
Daniel: That beats me. You're the doctor, Doctor. Ah, maybe I have a natural immunity.
Teal'c: Perhaps you will develop symptoms later.
Daniel: Thank you for the moral support.

Episode Goofs

If one side of the planet is permanently dark then how do the plants and trees there photosynthesize?

Although Dr. Frasier lets infected airmen beat themselves senseless against the walls, she rushs in to sedate Jack the moment that he starts doing the same thing.

At one point, Teal'c refers to Daniel as simply "Daniel" rather than "Daniel Jackson."
