Stargate SG-1: Unending

When the Asgard decide to share all their knowledge and technology with Earth, they do so by incorporating that knowledge and technology into the Odyssey. However, the incorporated Asgard systems become a tracking beacon for the Ori and every time the Odyssey drops out of hyperspace it is attacked by the Ori.

Finally, after numerous attacks, when just about to be destroyed, Carter uses the Asgard time dilation technology to slow down time in hopes of finding enough time to plan an escape from their certain destruction.

However, can Carter figure out the impossible escape? And just how long will it take?

Episode Quotes
Thor: You must go. (Final words)

SG-1: Indeed.

General Landry: (the final line of the series) Godspeed.

Thor: You are the fifth race. Your role is clear. If there is any hope in preserving the future it lies with you and your people.
Sam: No pressure, huh?

Thor: General, with your permission a number of Asgard are prepared to beam aboard immediately to begin installing various technological upgrades to this ship.
Mitchell: Hope it's ray guns.. I got ray guns in the pool.

Mitchell: What we need is we need Superman to fly around the ship really really fast.
Sam: If you only knew how ridiculous that was.
Mitchell: It only sounds ridiculous till you hear yourself say I am trapped in a spaceship stuck in a time dilation field.

Episode Goofs
In previous episodes The Asgards have shown that their consciousness could be downloaded into machines, so it would be a too extreme solution to destroy their whole race in order to escape a painful death as we have learned in past episodes they have made many sacrifices to their bodies in order to sustain life, it goes against their own goals not to live on as machines.

Episode References
This episode marks the demise of The Asgard, as their race finally expires. They self destruct their own homeworld and pass their knowledge and experience on to SG-1, and as a result, the human race
