Yeah, he's alright. but wish they wouldn't of tried to make him take over Jack's Character. he tries to act funny like him, but doesn't feel the same
but overall he's good, altough if they casted Quinn's character again, would of also been nice |

I never watched Farscape so I cant comment about him in that but I dont really like him in SG1. Still I think its great news that Claudia Black is joining fulltime next year as she and Michael Shanks work really well together. |

Ben is great in SG-1! Think of anyone who could really replace RDA; none come to mind. However, Ben brings his Farscape personae to the series, and it works!
I still think Claudia will be the show saver, extender though. I want to see more of her. Her role in SG-1 is way better than her role in Farscape. She has found her niche in this role. I love it! |

I would have liked if RDA had stayed on but he wanted more time with his family which is understandable. At first I didnt like him but he has grown on me and like Steve said it does work
Claudia Black will be a great assest to the cast and bring in the possibility of doing an episode or 2 about her past

Hey guys, I need someone to submit a pic of BB as Cameron Mitchell. I have created a character guide for him here. I have looked, but almost all I see, are of him being the Farscape guy. Ouch!
Please make sure it’s a publicity shot (and not from tv.com or GateWorld). Good hunting.

Just a note, bobpage87 added the great pic here for Ben B. Trust me, that was a tough thing to do. We thank you. |

Hey guys, do you think they named the Puddle Jumpers after this guest star: General John P. Jumper as Himself (SG-1 episode 7x22)??? |

An intriguing thought! I had assumed that because England called or calls the Atlantic “the pond,” SGA was calling an even bigger ocean there a “puddle” (you know, dichotomies). I like your thought better, though. |

An interesting point but I doubt it but its possible. I think they called them it as the gate produces a puddle or sorts and it goes from puddle to puddle - jumping.

I thought it was because they "jump" (fly) over the "puddle" which is the watery surface of the planet. Sort of like we call the Atlantic the Pond. Like what Fu thought. |

Much like we call the Atlantic ocean, the Pond, they coloquially call the giant Atlantis sea the Puddle. And the PJs jump (fly) over the sea. Puddle Jumper - they jump over the puddle. I thought that as soon as I heard the name. Because they are on a water planet, they are/were presumably used a lot to fly over the planet. I don't really know how to explain it any differently. |
