Starsky & Hutch: The Heavyweight

A brutal gangster, Gavin, terrorises boxer Jimmy Spencer when he refuses to throw a fight for betting purposes. Starsky and Hutch try to persuade Spencer to testify against Gavin but he refuses.

Meanwhile, Jeeter, Gavin's trainer, makes a deal with Gavin and tells him where Spencer is hiding out.

tarsky and Hutch (Nli: Professional boxer Jimmy Spenser finds himself in a tight corner after witnessing a murder.

Things get especially hot for him when he recognises that one of the three killers is Haley Gavin, a gangster who holds much sway over the loading docks where Spenser works.

Besides, Gavin has also been instrumental in boosting Spenser's career in the ring.

Then when Gavin approaches Spenser to throw a fight against boxer Booker Wayne so that he can make a pile,-Spenser finds his life in grave danger. He doesn't want to comply with Gavin's request.

Investigating the murder, Starsky and Hutch get onto Spenser. They want him and his trainer, Jeeter, to help them catch Gavin, but to no avail. Jeeter and Spenser are too afraid of Gavin.

But as things take a turn, Spenser finds himself sweating even more. Hiding from Gavin, he is later betrayed by Jeeter who tips Gavin off as to Spenser's whereabouts...
