Ray, played by Nick Mancuso
Little is known of the man known only as Ray. It's not even sure if "Ray" is his real name or if it's taken from the Corvette Stingray that he drives.
What is known is that Ray is a former American intelligence operative who was trained by an unnamed mentor. When his mentor turned rogue, Ray tried to turn him in without success. Apparently soured by the experience, Ray went into the business of helping people. He doesn't ask for payment, but instead trades favors. His terms are simple: he helps you, you have to return the favor sometime in the future when he asks.
Ray is a skilled driver, marksman, and martial artist. He has a eidetic memory and is skilled at computer manipulation. He has also learned the yoga-like ability to slow down his heartbeat to point of seeming death.
Ray's most useful talent is his ability to instantly assume any persona, from a preacher to a dock worker to a mild-mannered substitute teacher to a flamboyant hairdresser. |
