Episode Quotes
Forrester: I've got people dying in OR.
Ray: I'm not a doctor, but people do die during surgery.

Ray: Computers are pretty reliable: it's people who program them you can't always be too sure about.

Forrester: I'm told you don't work for money.
Ray: A personal shortcoming.

Cornell: You're not a surgeon.
Ray: You must be talking to my patients.
Cornell: Surgeons are cold, distant. There's too much going on behind those eyes.

Cornell: Of course, you could just come and take me. I mean, I might try and fight you off, but I am just a girl.
Ray: Right, you and Margaret Thatcher.

Cornell: Don't you think you're taking a chance, confiding all this dark secret information to me?
Ray: I don't take chances. Besides, I sat through two bowls of fettucine bolognese and at least a couple of bottles of Chianti. Anyone with that good an appetite has got to be on my side.

Ray: Everyone thinks your patients are dead, you drop them down the chute, right to your little laboratory here in the mountains. All you need is a lightning storm. The villagers always win in the end, doctor.
Whittaker: Who are you?
Ray: A villager.
