I've watched it from the get-go and being halfway through the second season, I realized that after (or near the end of) every episode, I think to myself, "Man, I LOVE this show!" It was great in the first season and I think the second season has gotten even better by upping the stakes and showing a new conflict for the main characters to deal with on top of the original secret of the first season. It took me this long to say, "Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to own this show." The writing is very tight and rarely if ever gives the ending away. You never really see what's coming next or how the characters will resolve the messes they run into. I'm not British, but I may have to say the show is "brilliant." ;-)
