There's trouble on Exxor, the home planet of the Wonder Twins. A sinister thug by the name of Lord Darkon, has set his sights on that planet, located in the galaxy of Nova 12, millions of light years from Earth. The Twins are initially summoned to defeat Darkon by themselves, but – of course – fall short in completing the task. Back on Earth, the SuperFriends, with the aid of the Justice League Computer, discover the whereabouts of the absent Wonder Twins and immediately jump into action and lend a helping hand.

Episode Goofs

Logic
When Zan arrives on Exxor, he immediately witnesses – first-hand – the giant monster they were sent to dispel. This giant cyclopian fiend melts objects, such as buildings, with his heat vision (not dissimilar to Superman's). At this time, Zan and Jayna transform, and Zan, of all things, chooses the form of an ice giant. Although no one expects Zan's intellect to be that of Batman's, he should – nevertheless – not choose the weakest possible element to combat his foe.

Continuity
When the cyclops zaps Zan's feet and he begins to melt, we see him dissolve all the way down to his neck, at which time he looks like nothing more than a puddle with a head; yet, Jayna exclaims, "You're flooding the city wonder brother!" and shows her (as a serpent) nearly drowning in water.

Continuity
When the SuperFriends are watching the Justice League Computer recorder, we see a shot of Superman standing directly in front of Batman, who is standing directly in front of Robin; in the following shot, however, we see them standing abreast.

Continuity
Also when watching the recorder, the message is not exactly the same. In between "You must help us!" and "The matter transporter is ready," an entire section – in which the Wonder Twins search for the SuperFriends, and the old man from Exxor tells them they must come themselves – has been cut.

Logic
At the beginning of the episode, the narrator said that the planet of Exxor was "millions of light years from Earth", and we see the SuperFriends departing in Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet and Batman's Bat-rocket, which both travel slower than the speed of light. For argument's sake, if we say they do travel at the speed of light, it would still take them "millions of years" to arrive, at which point everyone in question would be dead.

Continuity
When the henchman comes to tell Lord Darkon about the SuperFriends, we see Darkon rise from his seat, and then the next shot shows him seated, and the following shot once more standing.

Continuity and Logic
Once aboard Darkon's Space Cruiser, Batman and Robin are faced with a doorway blocked by two guards (with their backs to the SuperFriends); just then two others approach and a fight ensues. Two problems: 1) The guards near the door would surely hear the shouting; 2) Batman not only psychically knows there is water in the pipe running over-head, but also once he breaks it and water gushes everywhere, it is nowhere to be seen: the floor is bone dry!

Continuity and Logic
When the soldiers are marching the Exxorians through the desert, there are several goofs. To begin with, logically they would most likely march more than seven people if they had just conquered the entire planet. Moreover, continuity wise, we see different people and arrangements throughout the animation: first we see seven prisoners walking single file (including two women with two men in between them); then we see a close-up of their legs and the women are only separated by one man, and there is no child at the end, as seen in the long shot; we then see the three soldiers grouped together, whereas before there were two in the lead and one bringing up the rear; lastly, when Wonder Woman talks to them, there are only five, also including an old, balding gentleman with a long white beard, who was not present in the long shot.

Cultural References

Jayna: It looks like Sir Gleek has been made a member of the round table.

Despite the fact that the table Jayna is referring to is, in fact, an octagon, she is nevertheless trying to humorously reference the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Robin: Holy open sesame!

'Open, Sesame' is the password used to enter the magically sealed cave in the story, "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves."
