It's the 50th anniversary of DC Comics' Superman, and what better way to commemorate it than to air a new cartoon (on CBS, to boot)? This was the first animated appearance of Supes since the "Super Friends" cartoon, and was animated by Ruby-Spears. Each Superman adventure was around 18 minutes long, accompanied by the theme music and styling of the previous "Superman" live action films, and was followed by a "Superman Family Album" segment
