Episode Quotes

Clark: (about Tina) Ask her out.
Jimmy: I already tried. Twice. First time she said her cat was sick.
Clark: And the second?
Jimmy: She told me to buzz off.
Clark: She's learning from Lois already.

Tina: So, how do you call Superman?
Jimmy: I yell, the same as anyone else...

Episode References

"Feeding Time," "Solar Power," and "Little Girl Lost."

Angela Chen: (to Jimmy) According to our research, you single-handedly saved Superman skin from both the Parasite and Luminus. Plus, we were told you went undercover at his request to crack Intergang's connection to Apokolips.

Due to the events of this episode, Jimmy is taking credit for all these doings, which, while some might be partially true, they're all exaggerated.

The title of the episode refers to the short-lived Superman spin-off Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen that debuted in 1954 and centered around Jimmy and his various adventures with and without Superman.
