Lucifer prepares to summon a Horseman of the Apocalypse and Sam, Dean, Jo, Ellen, and Castiel try to stop him. However, they are soon divided and under siege by Meg, and time is running out for humanity.
A bank manager, Pendleton, buries a box at a crossroads of several highways. The demon Crowley appears to him and Pendleton comments that he was previously negotiating with a young woman. Crowley insists that Pendleton is an important client and then offers the traditional kiss to seal the deal. When Pendleton balks, Crowley tells him he'll have to set aside his homophobia if he wants to bail out his bank. The manager reluctantly agree. Meanwhile, Castiel watches them from hiding. When Crowley teleports away, Castiel follows him but discovers the demon's home is warded with Enochian runes preventing angelic entrance. Dean: Uh, excuse me for asking, but aren't you kind of signing your own death warrant? I mean, what happens to you if we go up against the Devil and lose?
Crowley: Number one, he's gonna wipe us all out anyway. Two, after you leave here, I go on an extended vacation to all points nowhere. And three, how about you don't miss?! Okay?! Morons!
Dean: Okay, and why exactly would you want the Devil dead?
Crowley: It's called survival. But I forgot you two are at best functioning morons.
Dean: You're a functioning... morons... moron.
Lucifer: Castiel, right? Castiel. I'm told you came here in an automobile.
Lucifer: What was that like?
Castiel: Um, slow. Confining.
Lucifer: What a peculiar thing you are.
Sam: Okay, last words?
Dean: I think I'm good.
Sam: Yeah, me too.
