Jane Peterson is a waitress working at Big Gerson's, a bar & grill. She calls her sister Olivia on the phone and wonders what to do about the boy she dated, and if he's interested in her. Jane admits she just needs the truth and hangs up. The chef then tells her that she's pathetic, and that he added something of his own into it. Jane takes the food out and the manager talks about how Jane is less attractive than the other waitress.
