Episode Quotes
Sam: Say, either of you heard of Thighslapper Ale?
Garth: Is that a stripper or a beverage?

Sam: I mean, can you even get drunk anymore? It’s kind of like drinking a vitamin for you, right?
Dean: Shut up.

Dean: You have the CEO of the douchiest microbrew in the U.S. gagged in your hot tub? You really think that’s gonna end well?
Garth: I’m not feeling the love.

Episode Goofs
The website that Sam checks out says that the shojo has a red face and hair.

However the creature on screen clearly does not.

Garth is Garth Algar, played by Dana Carvey, on the SNL Wayne's World sketches and subsequent movies.

Chris' Girlfriend: What do you want, Top Gun?

In the 1986 movie Top Gun, the pilot wear sunglasses just like Garth does.

Sam: Just wish it wasn’t like the damn tape from The Ring.

The 2002 movie The Ring featured a ghost that looks similar to the Shojo spirit.

This line is spoken in all of the Terminator movies as well as The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Dean: All right, well if it wasn’t Bobby, then what Jedi’d that sword into my hand?

The Jedi from the Star Wars movies can move things with their mind, and often summon their light sabers to their hand using the Force.

Dean: Instant Swayze, right?

Patrick Swayze plays a ghost who can move objects through sheer willpower, in the movie Ghost (1990).
