Episode Quotes
Sam: Well, don't look at me like that.
Dean: I'm not looking at you like anything... but I do gotta say, you look like crap.
Sam: Nice... thanks.

(impersonating priests)
Sam: This has got to be a whole new low for us.

Max Miller: All these people kept coming with, like, casseroles. I finally had to tell them all to go away. You know, because nothing says “sorry” like a tuna casserole.

Sam: Well, I’ll tell you one thing. We’re lucky we had Dad.
Dean: I never thought I’d hear you say that.

Sam: When Max locked me in that closet, that big cabinet against the door, I moved it.
Dean: You have a little bit more upper body strength than I give you credit for.

Sam: Aren't you worried, man? Aren't you worried that I could turn into Max or something?
Dean: Nope. No way. You know why?
Sam: No, why?
Dean: Because you've got one advantage that Max didn't have.
Sam: Dad? Because Dad's not here, Dean.
Dean: No, me. As long as I'm around, nothing bad is gonna happen to you.

Dean: I know what we need to do about your premonitions. I know where we have to go.
Sam: Where?
Dean: Vegas. (Sam walks away) What? Come on, man. Craps table? We’d clean up!

Episode Goofs
Sam and Dean stay at the Escanaba Motel. However, Escanaba, MI is in the upper peninsula, while Saginaw, the town they refer being in, is in the lower peninsula.

When Sam has his vision and Dean leads him away from the neighbor's house, he has his hand up on Sam's shoulder. When the camera cuts to a new shot from the front, Dean's hand has instantly dropped.

When Alice is chopping up onions, her blade is covered with bits and pieces. In the next shot, as Max enters the room, the knife is clean.

When Max enters the bedroom, Dean starts to lower his hand from Alice's head injury. When the camera cuts to a shot of them from the front, Dean's hand has leaped back up to Alice's head injury again.

When Max shoots Dean in the head, Dean slumps down and his head falls to the right, meaning his head should be to the right of his body.. However, in the next shot, he is laying as if he had slumped to the left.

Cultural References

Sam and Dean's relationship

This episode is a good example of the close relationship that has developed between Sam and Dean. Sam was only able to use his telekinesis when Dean was in trouble. Dean also shows that he cares for Sam by telling him that as long as Sam is with him, he won't let anything bad happen to him.
