Sam's visions are getting stronger, only this time they're linked to a guy named Andrew Gallagher in Oklahoma. The boys head out to investigate, and discover that Andy has an uncanny ability to 'talk" people into doing whatever he wants them to do. When confronted, though, Andy swears he's innocent. Dean believes him, but Sam isn't convinced.

Episode Notes |

Ratings: 3.7 million viewers | This episode reveals that there may be more children of interest to the demon than previously suspected: the Winchesters learn that having had one's mother burned alive at six months old is evidently not a prerequisite, for they encounter a "child of interest" for whom this did not happen. This widens the scope of the demon's interest considerably. | Andy's license plate reads RU OBI 1. |

Dean: There's gonna be hunters there, I don't know if-if-if goin' in and announcing that you're some supernatural freak with a-a demonic connection's the best thing, okay?
Sam: So, I'm a freak now?
Dean: You've always been a freak. | Jo: What?
Dean: REO Speedwagon?
Jo: Damn right, REO. Kevin Cronin sings it from the heart.
Dean: He sings it from the hair. There's a difference. | Sam: Holly Beckett gave birth to twins.
Andy: I have … an evil twin. | Andy: This is a cherry ride.
Dean: Yeah, thanks.
Andy: Man, a ’67. Impala’s best year, if you ask me. This is a serious classic.
Dean: Yeah. You know, I just rebuilt her, too. Can’t let a car like this one go.
Andy: Damn straight. Hey, can I have it?
Dean: Sure, man! | Dean: I call do-over.
Sam: What are you, 7? | Ash: Sam. Dean. Sam and Dean.
Sam: Hey, Ash, um, we need your help.
Ash: Well, hell then, I guess I need my pants. |

Simon Says... Allude to a Children's Game!
The title comes from a popular game for American children called Simon Says. In the game, one child issues orders to the others, usually in rapid fire, and they must carry out those orders only if they are prefaced with "Simon Says." When children make mistakes - carrying out an order not so prefaced or failing to carry out an order that is prefaced, they are ejected from the game; the winner is the last remaining child. He then takes over as the caller. | Dean: He full on Obi-Waned me!
Within the Star Wars mythology, Jedi Knights are defenders of justice who can tap an extra-corporeal power called The Force. This gives them a constellation of benefits among which is the "mind trick." A trained Jedi knight can (like Andy) impose his will over that of a subject. The effectiveness depends on the skill of the Jedi Knight and the mental characteristics of the subject. Andy's ability is similar in nature but more powerful - only one individual successfully resisted it. Andy's license plate, RU OBI 1, is also a reference to Obi-Wan Kenobi. | Sam: Dean, you had O.J. convicted before he got out of his white Bronco and you have doubts about this?
In 1994, O.J. Simpson's wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman, were found murdered outside of Simpson's house. After a long police chase where Simpson drove a white Bronco, he was charged with the murders, but was later acquitted after a sensational televised trial. | Dean: It's not exactly a serial killer's liar, though. There's no clown paintings on the wall.
Serial killer John Wayne Gacy Jr. killed 32 men in the Chicago area during the 1970s. Gacy had a fetish for clowns -- he often dressed up as a clown to entertain at birthday parties and visit children in local hospitals and had several pieces of clown art in his home. | License Plate: RU OBI 1
Andy's license plate is a reference to the character Obi-Wan in Star Wars. |
