Sam and Dean investigate a series of drowning victims who were nowhere near the water at their time of death, but saw a ghost ship just before they died. During the investigation, they cross paths with Bela, who is being paid to solve the case by the family of one of the victims.
A young woman, Sheila Case, is jogging past the docks when she spots something in the harbor: a three-masted clipper ship from the turn of the century, sailing ahead of the oncoming storm. It disappears and she goes back to her house to take a shower. As she does, a shadowy figure appears behind the glass but when she turns to look, it disappears. Bela: On silk sheets, rolling naked in money.
Dean: All right, get it out, I look ridiculous.
Bela: Not exactly the word I'd use.
Bela: You know when this is over, we should really have angry sex.
Dean: (after a pause) Don't objectify me!
Bela: What do you suggest?
Dean: I’m thinking…
Bela: Don’t strain yourself.
Dean: I can’t believe she got another one over on us!
Sam: I mean, she got one over on you, not us.
Dean: Thank you, Sam! Very helpful.
Dean: (on Bela) Can I shoot her?
Sam: Not in public.
