Episode Goofs
It was stated that the Gibson girl had been locked up by her daddy/grandaddy, had "never seen the light of day" and was "more animal than human". The likelihood that she or her brother were educated is very low, especially living in the darkness. So they should not have been able to write "too late" on the wall in blood or even communicate well enough to tell Danny that he could stay but she hated grownups.
