Slow start but good payoff. Ending was a bit expected still I am glad they went there. It's gonna set up some interesting scenarios if they really plan to develop the whole Dean in Purgatory thing. Plus what happens with Leviathans? What happens with Crowley?

A lot of expectations and the 8th season might be the last one. I just hope the CW doesn't gut the budget much.

I think sam is still in hell, and this will be the final supernatural season.

It will end with Dean killing sam - in a micheal vs lucifier style battle.

Look at Kripke's ending - and tell me you cant see Dean crying while killing Sam.

I believe the entire story is leading up to that point. Both Tragic and Beautiful - how the best stories are told.

Either that or when it comes to the point of dean killing sam - the good 'ol boys will turn and defeat evil in their own unwritten way, using their classic misdirection.

Either Sam dies or they defeat evil. Its the only way I see supernatural ending.

I doubt Sam is still in Hell, because that would pretty much make the last two seasons his delusion. The last time I'm aware of that anyone made a mistake that bad was Dallas, around a quarter century ago.

They've set up plenty of plot ideas for a Season 8. It should be interesting to see which of those threads they weave into stories.

I don't think Dallas was a mistake, I've never seen it and I know what happened - doesn't that make it a success?

I'm hoping the new show-runner looks at the last two seasons as a Sera 'SlashFiction' Gamble Delusion.
