Day One

Survivor kicks off in Nicaragua where the danger is high and the island rugged. With 20 people who are going to have to work together, it is going to be tough. Jeff Probst is the host for the season and with 39 days 20 people, there can only be one survivor. Brenda, Benry, Alina, Chase, Jud, Naonka, Kelly S., Shannon, Kelly B., Sash, Jimmy J., Jill, Jane, Wendy, Tyrone, Marty, Yve, Dan, Holly, and Jimmy T. are the cast of survivors for this season. Who will be the one to survive to the end?

The show begins with the contestants entering on the beach and Yve tells that she can tell a lot by the way they look at other people. Right away, Kelly B says that she has a medical condition that is a birth defect. Marty is not happy to see Jimmy Johnson, former NFL coach, is on the beach. Jeff tells the survivors that hidden somewhere is the Medallion of Power. The person who gets it claims it for their tribe. The survivors search for it and Brenda wins the Medallion of Power. The tribes are split differently this time and it is 40-years-old and older are one tribe and 30-years-old and younger for the other. “Espada” with the color blue for the older tribe and “La Flor” with the color yellow for the younger tribe. Brenda won the Medallion for the younger team. She can either trade it for fishing equipment and fire or keep it. Naonka tells that they want to keep it and the others say that having the supplies would give them an advantage. After a short break, the young team take the fishing equipment.

The tribes split up and “Espada” get to know each other. Jimmy J., a former NFL coach, wants to be able to hold his own. Holly and Wendy form an alliance and Wendy wants to be there for a while even though her husband tells that she will be the first to be voted off. Jane tells that she is the type that stays busy and shows that she has what it takes to survive by starting a fire right away. Marty tells that they are going to be able to last a while because of the fact that they are resourceful right off the bat. Meanwhile with “La Flor”, Sash feels that it is going to be easy. Shannon calls the blonde kid, Jud, dumb and nicknames him “Fabio” because of his long blonde hair. Shannon and Chase make an alliance and Shannon tells that it has to be a man’s game this year because a woman won already. He tells that woman dominate in marriage and shouldn’t on survivor.

Kelly B. is self conscious of her leg and she gathers the team and shows her prosthetic leg. She tells that she had a birth defect and Shannon tells that he would give her the money even if he won. The team feels that she is possibly get the sympathy vote and hopes she messes up so that they can kick her off. Naoaka doesn’t like it at all and tells that if she has to run, it is going to be her that is going to win. Evening falls and back with “Espada”, they are happy about the fire and already Jimmy J. is getting sick. Jimmy T. tells that it is not for the weak and that he needs to muster through it.

Day two

At “Espada”, Jimmy J. tells that he had no sleep, sick, and tells it is an eye opener for him. At “La Flor”, Brenda tells that she used to cheer for the Dolphins with Jimmy J. Chase and Brenda make an alliance and Brenda tells that Chase is clueless and that she is in it to win it. In the forest, Alina and Kelly B. find a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. They hide it away and Alina is upset that they found it together. “Espada” get a riddle and Jimmy J. gathers the tribe and he tells that he doesn’t want to win but tells that he will help one of them win. The team seem like they don’t buy into the whole speech.

The first challenge and the younger crowd are in the spirit with the chanting then the older are. This Immunity Challenge is a puzzle. The Medallion of Power gives huge challenges and “Espada” choose to keep the Medallion of Power still. The teams get together and align the pipes to flow the water down into the buckets. “La Flor” get their puzzle pieces first and older tribe follows right after. But it is “La Flor” that wins the Immunity this time. No one going will be going home for their tribe. “Espada” are in danger of one of them will be going home. “Espada” discuss the results of the challenge and who the weakest survivor is. Jimmy T. is tired and tells that he is voting Jimmy J because he doesn’t need to be there and Marty thinks that he is crazy. Holly and Jimmy J. talk and he tells that there are two weak players: Himself and Wendy. Holly goes to the rest and the hunch is that Wendy is going home but nothing is set in stone.

“Espada” arrive at Tribal Council and each grab a torch and they talk about first impressions. Jane is nicknamed the “Survivor MacGyver” by some of the tribe for starting the fire. She tells that Jeff said that you don’t go on Survivor unless you know how to build a fire. Jimmy T. tells that he is a leader where he lives and that he tells that when there is a greater leader like Jimmy J., there is no contest. Jimmy J. tells that he is only in on it for the adventure, but Jeff asks if they believe that and Jimmy T. says that he doesn’t at all. Wendy tells that she is in danger because she has not been talkative. Wendy asks if she can say something. She tells that she could be friendly with the tribe and the tribe is not impressed. The team vote for the person they want out of the tribe. Tyrone says Wendy after hearing the excuses. The votes get tallied and Wendy is the one leaving survivor and she puts on her hat and Jeff puts out her torch. The tribe gets fire for going to tribal council.
