Glitter in Their Eyes - Recap

With Shannon gone from last episode only Brenda, Benry, Alina, Chase, Jud, Naonka, Kelly S., Kelly B., Sash, Jimmy J., Jill, Jane, Tyrone, Marty, Yve, Dan, Holly, and Jimmy T. remain of the twenty that were before. At “La Flor” on night 6, they are talking about their decision and how it was good and that they are not united and they all want to be. However, Naonka tells that everything is faked. She tells that there are people now in trouble and that it will come back and bite them in the butt.

Day 7

At the “Espada” tribe, the men are trying to find food and they find monkeys. Jimmy J. starts to talk with the monkeys and they get nowhere with it. Marty tells that Jimmy J. is a threat and that everyone has “Glitter in their eyes” and talks to Jill about it. She tells that people are going to have it because Jimmy J. is a celebrity. Meanwhile at “La Flor”, they are starting a fire and Jud tells that every time he goes to start the fire, he gets dizzy. Naonka hates Jud and she tells that he is an idiot. Jud tells that he wants to be around for the fact that he is good and not the fact that he is funny.

Back at “Espada”, they are eating and Marty announces that he found the immunity idol. Earlier Jill and Marty agreed that Marty should show the idol to everyone. Jimmy T. sees this as a sign of humility, but Tyrone tells that he doesn’t trust Marty despite what the tribe thinks of him right now.

Day 8

At “Espada”, the older tribe, everyone wakes up to wet clothes and Dan tells that he is stiff and sore. Yve sees that Dan is struggling and she sees that it is going to be bad during the Immunity challenge. At “La Flor”, they are starting to talk about how the stakes are right now. Brenda and Sash are talking and she tells that there are several people who are weak but Alina and Kelly B. are not in the best position because they are going to need Jud and Benry
Chase, Brenda, Sash, and Kelly S. are in Naonka’s alliance and that they are going to send a shock wave to the two girls.

Challenge time and today both tribes need to collect 10 barrels and then toss sand bags on top of the 10 barrels. The reward is a garden full of fruits. The younger tribe feels confident and is not going to need to use their Medallion of Power. The teams strategize and the race begins. The younger tribe gets going ahead and has a fast start and is the first to start tossing the bags. However, “Espada” steam ahead. It is close until they tie it up and “La Flor” rushes ahead and beat “Espada” and wins the Immunity and Reward. Kelly B. and Naonka see the hidden idol and both are going to go after it. As “La Flor” walks with the fruit basket and suddenly they throw the basket down and fight for the clue to the idol. Naonka gets the clue after destroying the bananas. The whole tribe is upset but Naonka doesn’t care. She walks off and tries to understand it, but can’t make it out. Later, Naonka shares the clue with Brenda and they have a hard time trying to decipher it as well.

At “Espada”, they return and they are not happy about their losing. Jimmy T. tells that he has been ignored and tells that Jimmy J. needs to get him in the game. Marty tells that it was disappointing that they weren’t able to get ahead. Jimmy J. tells that the team pushed hard but it wasn’t hard enough. Jimmy J. and Marty talk and Marty has other motives to wanting to talk to Jimmy J. He starts to talk with people and tries to get everyone on his side to kick Jimmy J. out of there. Meanwhile, Holly and Jane talk and Holly thinks that she is going to go and Jane tells that she believes Dan is the weakest player and that it is not going to be Holly. They go fishing with Jimmy J. and Jimmy tells Yve that he is most likely going to go home in all of it. They try to reassure him and he tells that it is anyone’s game. However, Marty is still trying to get everyone on board to kick Jimmy out and Tyrone tells that he has someone else to kick off. Marty talks to Jill again about it and she tells that she really doesn’t care and that it doesn’t matter if they kick of Dan or Jimmy J. off first.

That night all the members of “Espada” arrive to Tribal Council and Jimmy T. tells that he has always battled with Jimmy J. for the fact that he is a leader by profession and himself, he feels is a natural born leader. Everyone goes around and tells that they are not weak, all besides Jimmy. The banter continues and Marty tells that everyone is basically the same and the tribe votes. Jimmy T. votes out Jimmy J. of course and Jimmy J. votes out Danny. The votes are tallied and the person voted out tonight is Jimmy Johnson. He walks out and tells that team to win a million bucks.
