<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Jeff Probst is back for another Survivor and two more castaways are going to be joining the team. Benjamin “Coach” Wade and Ozzy Lusth are back and ready to go all the way with different strategies. The castaways have to paddle their way to the beach of Upolu, Samoa while the two returning players get to fly in on a helicopter. Each of the castaways talks about what they have to bring and one of the castaway, Brandon, is the nephew of Russell Hantz, a former repeat of Survivor. For the Savaii Tribe: Whitney, Keith, Dawn, Mark, Semhar, John, Elyse, and Jim and the Upolu Tribe: Edna, Sophie, Albert, Christine, Rick, Mikayla, Stacey, and Brandon arrive on the island and meet with the two returning players. Jeff asks what the reactions are and Christine says that they are temporary players. John asks to be called by his last name, Cochran. Ozzy and Coach draw eggs and get the color to the tribe. Coach goes with the Upolu Tribe and Ozzy goes to the Savaii Tribe.

They get to the first Reward Challenge and Jeff tells that it is going to be between Coach and Ozzy. They have to climb and crawl to get to a puzzle. After that, they are going to have to organize the puzzle and move them to solve it. The challenge begins and Ozzy is the first one over the pole followed closely by Coach. They start digging under the log to see if they have enough room to slide under it. Ozzy is first under and Coach is close behind. It is a close race but it is Ozzy who wins the challenge thanks to the guidance of his teammates. They win the reward and they get Tarro, the stable of the island similar to potatoes. They also get flint for fire. The Savaii Tribe celebrates the win and walk off with their reward. Coach gets back to his tribe and they shun him. However, one member of the tribe, Edna, shows that she is not a person who holds a grudge.

Day One

At the Savaii Tribe, the members start to introduce themselves and talk about the different things that they did prior to Survivor. Semhar says that she is a poet and Whitney says that she is a songwriter and singer. The tribe members get persuaded by Ozzy to take a swim in the water. Cochran is a little scared to show off his lack of tan and muscles. They encourage him to go in anyway. At the Upolu tribe, they arrive at their camp and Coach tells that he knows that they are a little upset with him for losing the challenge, but he wanted to say that they tried to work as a team still. Christine tells that they need to get to know one another. Rick tells that he is a Rancher and that he owns his own ranch too. They get to work on getting their shelter up and are doing a great job at it too. However, Christine has her own agenda and begins to look for the hidden immunity idol.

Back at the Savaii tribe, they enjoy their dip in the ocean and start talking about what they do and Jim says that he is a teacher, but he really is a Medical Marijuana Dispenser. Mark confesses that he is gay and that he would like to be called Papa Bear because he is a bear. Dawn gets a little nervous that the shelter is not finished neither started. She says that she needs to be the one to step up and be the leader, but is too scared to do it. She starts to break down. Back at the Upolu Tribe, Brandon talks to Coach and Coach asks what he has on his neck. Brandon says that it is Loco because he was crazy. He says that he is religious now. Coach mentions how attractive Mikayla is and Brandon plays it off as it is nothing. However, it is apparent that he is thinking that Mikayla is more then what he portrays. That night on the Upolu Tribe five of the members talk about how it is important to have alliance. Coach says that there needs to be a strong five.

Day 2

At the Savaii Tribe Dawn and Semhar try to get breakfast ready and they mess up. Dawn starts to break down with the entire thing and Dawn says that she feels old and Mark tells her that she has to be strong because the younger players are going to be turn on them. She tries to help and hurts herself a little bit. She has a break-down and starts to tear up. Ozzy offers her support to get her spirits up. She tells that he is right and that she needs to show that she belongs there. Cochran manages to open his first coconut and is ecstatic.

Day 3

On the Upolu tribe, Brandon goes out fishing and manages to find some. He hides his tattoos because he has the name Hantz on his back and he doesn’t want to show anyone. Sophie says that she doesn’t like Brandon already because she feels that he is hiding something from the tribe.

Immunity Challenge time and the tribes go out for their first challenge to not get voted out. They are going to have to work together to make it through the obstacle course and at the end of it, shoot coconuts in the basket. The teams have to pick three individuals to shoot baskets. The Upolu tribe tall that they are going to make it simple and the Savaii tribe talk and Semhar says that she is really good at making baskets. It is close, but it is the Upolu tribe who wins the immunity and Fire because Semhar makes one basket and tells that she is too tired. Jeff tells that Savaii was only one coconut behind them. Jim rolls his eyes when Semhar says that she is sort of upset that they lost. Jim voices that he is really upset and Semhar should be as well.

The Upolu tribe gets the news that a clue to the hidden Immunity Idol is at their camp and they go out and start looking for it. Stacey starts to look, but she doesn’t realize that she passes by the clue. The Savaii Tribe get back and Semhar confesses that she knows that she messed up, but says that she didn’t like the fact that Jim was making faces behind her back. Jim and Semhar argue about what really happened and the tribe start to talk about who is going to go home. It is clear that everyone wants Semhar to go home because of the reason that she messed up on the challenge. However, Ozzy tells that it might not be a good time to vote Semhar out yet for trying her best. Jim starts to think that Ozzy is a threat because he is thinking this early in the game that someone is good. He votes that Cochran go out because he is the weakest player. They talk amongst themselves and Mark goes over to Cochran and tells that they are thinking of voting him out.

Tribal Council Time and the Savaii Tribe gather around and get their torches. They start talking about why they think that Semhar should go up and the fact that she told that she was going to be able to do it and then lost the momentum after 1 coconut is not reassuring. Cochran’s name is brought up as the other choice and Cochran treats it like a courtroom and pleads his case to why he is a valuable player. The votes are tallied and read with 1 vote for Cochran and 4 votes for Semhar. The person voted off the game to Redemption Island is Semhar. She walks off and tells herself that the people in the tribe are fake and that they lied to her telling her that she was safe when all along, she wasn’t at all.
