He Has Demons - Recap

With Semhar voted off to Redemption Island, for the Savaii Tribe: Whitney, Keith, Dawn, Mark, John, Elyse, and Jim and on the Upolu Tribe: Edna, Sophie, Albert, Christine, Rick, Mikayla, Stacey, and Brandon remain in the main competition. It is Night 3 and Semhar gets to Redemption Island. She cries and says that she doesn’t like how people could be cold hearted. She quotes her poetry and cries. At the Savaii tribe, the members get back to camp and Cochran thanks the other members. Ozzy says that Cochran needs to put the effort into the challenges and help around camp or he is next to get kicked to Redemption Island. Keith starts to make an alliance with Ozzy.

Day 4

On the Upolu tribe, Coach talks to Edna and he says that he is on the outs of the tribe, but says that he has an alliance and says that Edna seems like a nice person. Edna says that Christine and Stacey are close and that they are going to have to get to them. On the Savaii tribe, Cochran cuts open the coconut and shares it with the other tribe members. Ozzy says that he is going to go float out in the water. However, he really starts to look for the Idol. He finds it. He says that he was stupid last time and didn’t play it. He vows that he is going to play it at the right time and doesn’t want to tell the other tribal members.

Back at Upolu tribe, Coach and Brandon talk and Brandon decides to tell Coach that he is related to Russell Hantz. Coach has history and tells Brandon that Russell claimed to be a “man of God” and then backstabbed him and voted him out. Brandon says that he won’t do that to Coach and says that they will pray about it. Back at the Savaii tribe, Jim, Keith and Ozzy go out on a boat and go fishing. Jim tells Keith that they are going to make an alliance together and include three of the girls. They want to vote out Papa Bear, Dawn and Cochran and take each other to the merge. Keith agrees and says that he is going to keep Jim thinking that he is the orchestrator of the entire alliance.

Day 5

On the Upolu tribe, they decide to go fishing too and Mikayla volunteers to help. She tells that she is a tough girl and Brandon says that he has a problem with Mikayla. He tells Coach that Mikayla is “poverty” and that she is a temptress. Coach laughs it off and says that Brandon has demons that are going to come up if he isn’t careful. Christine keeps looking for the Idol and now that there is a clue, she looks all over for it. She finds a clue and it gives the location to the idol. She hides it from the other tribal members.

Immunity Challenge Time and they are going to have 4 members to release a key and then move crates across the platform and first to move their platform to the other side is going to be the winner. The reward of pillows and blankets is up for grabs as well. Edna sits out. The challenge begins and Upolu get their four tribe members released from the locks. Savaii catches up, but Upolu has a huge lead. However, during the puzzle, Savaii pushes it and get in the lead. In the end, Savaii wins Immunity and Reward. They get their blankets and pillows and celebrate. Jeff tells the Upolu that they are going to have to prepare for Tribal Council.

At the Upolu tribe, Coach says that they are going to put 3 votes for Stacey and 3 votes for Christine. Brandon suggests that they vote out Mikayla because she is a threat. However, the other tribe members say that Mikayla is a strong player and that it would be stupid to make a move like that. Sophie doesn’t trust Brandon. Christine and Stacey don’t know what the others are talking about and Edna comes over. Christine asks what they are talking about and Edna says that she doesn’t know. Brandon tries to get other members to vote out Mikayla and says that she is strong, but she is making him uncomfortable. Coach comes over and says that he has made alliances with people who are loyal and that is all that matters in the end of things.

Tribal Council Time and the Upolu tribe come down and light their torch. Brandon says that he has made a good impression on everyone. Coach says that there was a bad first impression with him because he lost the initial challenge. However, he says that he heard that Christine and Stacey are thinking of voting out Mikayla. However, Stacey and Christine deny it. Coach refuses to break his loyalty to Brandon by telling that it was him who told that they were thinking that. However, Brandon feels guilty and admits to trying to get her out. They vote and the votes are tallied. It comes down to Sophie with 1 vote, Edna with 1 vote, Christine with 3 votes and Stacey with 3 votes. The next person voted to Redemption Island is Christine. Jeff says that the tribe needs to work on trust or they are going to be at Tribal Council a lot.
